We had a very successful Market Day and Fishing Competition with 30 stall holders and an estimated 1200 attendees for the day. - 2022-03-15 TPA Notice of Decision
WSC notified the Association that the TPA has been approved, pending an appeals to VCAT. The objector to the TPA has 28 days to lodge an appeal with VCAT. - 2022-02-28 Community Assistance Grant submitted
We have applied for a Community Assistance Grant of $5000 from WSC to build seating around the 3x3 basketball court. The outcome will be know in May. - 2022-01-31 TPA notice of objections period closed
We are now awaiting a decision by WSC as to whether the Visitor Welcome Centre and Art by the Sea Gallery TPA has passed all hurdles and has been accepted. - 2021-12-04 End of Year celebration

A grant application to WSC for a $5000 Community Assistance Grant (Facilities) for the 3x3 Basketball court seating has been postponed to the January 2022 round to allow more time to get the application completed properly. - 2021-04-22 3x3 Basketball court
Today we began scoping out the work on the seating for the 3x3 basketball court with quotes being sought for the concreting works. The EoSSF raised $1680 from the raffle, and we are adding the $1320 currently held in the 'Younger Persons Program' account to this amount, which will allow us to apply for a WSC Community Assistance Grant of $5000 for the project. - 2021-04-17 Life Membership award
Lorraine Gilbert was presented Life Membership of the Association today at a morning tea held at the Community Centre. There were many people there to congratulate Lorraine for her selfless work as volunteer, with the Association and many other groups in town.

The annual EoSSF was held this weekend with the Association running the Market Day and Inaugural 90 Mile Beach Surf Fishing Competition on Easter Saturday. Thanks to the generous support of the community, we raised $1680 through the raffle. All proceeds will go towards purchasing seating for the 3x3 basketball court. - 2021-03-20 Nursery Shade Shelter opened

The long delayed 2020 AGM was held in the Golden Beach Community Centre on Wednesday March 3rd 17 at 7:00 pm. The 2021 AGM will be held in August this year. - 2021-02-17 Community Digital Information Kiosk commissioned

Credit card facilities have been installed at the Community Plant Nursery to allow us to provide fresh water to visitors, and to take donations towards the maintenance of, and improvements to the Community Tourist Park. - 2020-12-24 Carport installed

The Town Centre Revitalisation Collaborative Committee met with representatives of the Wellington Shire Council to discuss The Plan. - 2020-10-07 Order placed for Community Nursery carport
Today the order was placed for the Community Nursery carport which will provide shade from the sun and shelter from the rain for our volunteers. We are hopeful that it will be installed before Christmas if all goes smoothly with the process. - 2020-09-15 WSC approves grants
