Wellington Shire Council is progressively rolling out new town signs across the Shire, and as a Community we have the opportunity to present our preferred images to the Council for these signs

• The Shire prefer a single point of contact for submissions, and the Ratepayers & Residents Association has offered to co-ordinate.

• The Shire is taking phased approach to replacing signs, and the first signs to be replaced locally are at Golden Beach, with Paradise Beach to follow in the next round.

• To ensure a common ‘look and feel’ throughout the Shire, there is no negotiation on the size, colour or layout of the sign but we can provide input as a community as to the preferred image on the signs.

• The existing sign at the Causeway will be replaced, and a new sign will be erected on Shoreline Drive at the Seaspray end of town.

• The sign can only contain one picture, and it must be the same picture on both signs. Paradise Beach can have a different design when the time comes.

• All artwork must be in photographic format. All photos submitted should be in landscape mode, and should be high resolution, colour shots (300 dpi please).

Images should be submitted via email to info@goldenbeachgippsland.com.au by Friday September 17th.

All images will then be displayed on the web for voting, and a flyer will be available at the shop for people to use if they don’t have an internet connection.

The top 3 most popular submissions will be announced Monday September 27th.
